Armaments and Items
There are various weapons and items in the game to help you combat B.O.W.'s.
Ammo
Ammunition is required to use firearms. To combine partial stacks of ammo just drag and drop to any of the same type of ammo to combine them.
A. Attachments- Can be used on most firearms. To attach just drag and drop the item to any firearm in your inventory. To detach just right click any firearm in your inventory (Detach). Below are the two attachments currently in the game:
-Silencers- These suppress the sound of any firearm they are attached to. All 9mm Handguns, Sub-Machine Guns (SMG's), Light-Machine Guns (LMG's) and Assault Rifles (AR's) support these.(These do not reduce fire power)
-Scopes- These will increase the accuracy of any firearm they are attached to by 10%, and will unlock “Sniper Mode”. The Beretta92, and all Sub-Machine Guns (SMG's), Light-Machine Guns (LMG's) and Assault Rifles (AR's) support these.
Special Weapons
Special weapons are typically thrown weapons. A box in the bottom right hand corner of the screen which will tell you which special you have selected. To throw a selected special weapon, press T
, or click on the special weapon in the box, and then click a point in the map to throw it. Press W
to cycle through your available special weapons.
Healing Items
These items can be used to heal some or all of players health, cure infection, or detoxify poison. A player with the “Doctor” Perk can drag and drop healing items on other people next to them.
- C. Herbs- Herbs come in three different varieties. Green herbs heal you roughly one status bar, Red herbs combine with green herbs to fully heal a player, and blue herbs cure poison status. Green herbs can be mixed in your inventory with other herbs to create different variations, mainly R+G+B which fully heals a player and cures poison status.
- E. Food/Junk food- Some of these will increase your health, others might give you a boost in speed for a few seconds. To eat just click on any food/junkfood in your inventory. Any healing effects by Junk food will not affect “Bleeding” status.
Other
These items can be used to either benefit the player or others around him/her.
